Overview
Based on morphology, Strümpel and Strümpel (2014a) revised the genus Enchenopa to include 51 valid species (21 new) and placed Campylenchia as its junior synonym. A prior molecular study (Lin, Danforth, and Wood 2004a), however, supported Campylenchia as a distinct genus. Pending further research to clarify this situation, we here treat Campylenchia as a valid genus based on the molecular data.
