Diagnostic characters
Pronotum concealing much of forewing in repose, simple or with elevated medain carina or with globose swellings, without longitudinal rugae and suprahumeral horns. Forewing with veins R and M fused basally but strongly divergent near middle of wing. Hind wing without r-m crossvien; R4+5 and M1+2 confluent for short distance but divergent near apex. Metathoracic femur without longitudinal row of cucullate setae. Female second valvulae narrow and elongate.
