Diagnostic characters
Pronotum usually with suprahumeral horns (exception: horns absent in Dukeobelus); posterior process straight or curved dorsally at base, appressed against scutellum only in Centrotusoides. Female second valvuale not broadened. Male lateral plate with long dorsoapical lobe extending dorsally (exception: lobe absent in Centruchus); style clasp oriented laterally thickened, expanded dorsoventrally and laterally with sclerotized ridge (exception: clasp elliptical or wedgelike in _ Maguva_), angled ventrally.
