Overview
Based on a morphological study, Strümpel and Strümpel (2014a) treated Campylenchia as a junior synonym of the genus Enchenopa. We have temporarily retained our Campylenchia taxon page to point out this new synonymy to users of Wallace’s 2010a online key to the treehopper genera of the United States. We are currently unable to update Wallace’s 2019 online key to the genera of the United States, which includes Campylenchia as a valid genus, including the species C. latipes, now Enchenopa latipes based on Strümpel and Strümpel (2014a).
