Overview
Members of the subgenus Oeda (Oeda) are easily recognized based on the structure and attachment of the inflated pronotal process (see Diagnostic characters below). Sakakibara (2014a) provided a key to the species.

Diagnostic characters
Swollen pronotal process sessile, opaque, and with finely reticulate areas; its posterior apex unarmed (modified from Cryan and Deitz 1999b).
