Overview
Members of the tribe Stegaspidini show exceptional variety in their pronotal shapes. Cryan and Deitz (1999a) presented an overview and key to the genera of this tribe which occurs in Mexico, Central America, and South America. That publication and two others (Cryan and Deitz 1999b; Cryan and Deitz 2000a) provide reviews of the included genera.
