Thorax
Pronotum weakly to strongly produced anterodorsally. Scutellum convex basally, keeled posteriorly, not elongate. (Deitz and Dietrich 1993a).
Wings
Forewing with veins R, M, and Cu diverging from one point or M briefly united with R or Cu; clavus uniformly taping to an acute apex. Hind wing with crossvein r-m; marginal vein well developed; vein M3+4 with weakened area basad of crossvein m-cu; wing apex with dense semicircular chaetoids. (Deitz and Dietrich 1993a)

Male genitalia
Abdominal segment IX without lateral plates; aedeagal shaft very slender and elongate, with paired preapical and apical processes. (Deitz and Dietrich 1993a)

Pygofer without posterior process; second valvulae broadened dorsoapically. (Deitz and Dietrich 1993a)
Immatures
