Overview
The Neotropical genus Umbelligerus was first established (Deitz 1975a) for one species, U. peruviensis, but now includes a total of five species occurring from Brazil north to Costa Rica. Flynn (2014a) provided a review of the genus with a key to species, two of which were new.
