Overview
The genus Lycoderides, originally described as a subgenus of Lycoderes, differs from the latter genus in features of the forewing (venation and shape of the wing apex) (Sakakibara 2013a). Lapèze and Lopez-Vaamonde (2022a) provided a revised checklist of 13 species of Lycoderides from French Guiana, including 3 new species described by Lapèze in Lapèze and Lopez-Vaamonde 2022.
