Overview
McKamey (2023a) described this new monobasic genus to include Tectiforma guayasensis McKamey, n. sp., from Ecuador. T. guayasensis is known only from the male holotype collected at an ultraviolet light.

Diagnostic characters
Pronotum strongly tectiform throughout; forewing with 2 adjacent discoidal cells (R2+3 and M) and 2 m-cu crossveins (McKamey 2023a).
