Overview
Gonzalez-Mozo and Ware (2023a) created the new genus Allocyphotes to include three Neotropical species transferred from Cyphotes as well as three new species from Ecuador. They provided illustrated keys to identify the “Cyphotes-group genera” (Aspona, Allocyphotes, Cyphotes, Hypheodana, Nasuconia, and Taunaya) within the tribe Darnini.
